When we did our overview of music series in the Twin Cities, the longstanding Tuesday Series topped the list (brief interview with series co-curator Casey Deming here). It just so happens that the Tuesday Series is in need of funding and is going the Kickstarter route to raise $1500. The Tuesday Series has been crucial in the artistic, intellectual and cultural development of myself and many, many other Twin Cities, national and international musicians. Contributions start at $1. I encourage you to contribute what you can!

Friends, the Tuesday Series is in need of your help.
A decade after its initiation, the Series landed grant $ last year that has helped us contribute to Madame of the Arts’ vitality as an arts & performance space as well as financially supporting local, national and international musicians without depending on a corporate sponsor or alcohol sales.
Unfortunately, we did not receive this same grant money in 2012, so in addition to further researching our grant opportunities we thought it apt to do a small kickstarter to at least guarantee our ability to support our continued use of the Madame space. They need the support and frankly they deserve it and then some.
Five (5) tiers of gifts for supporters:
$1 or more – personalized thank you email and all around good vibes
$10 or more – thank you postcard w/ tues series imagery from the flyers
$20 or more – A limited edition Squid Fist CD with hand-made packaging and silk-screened prints. Released on the Art of This Imprint.
$30 or more – A limited edition Free Improvised Music Compilation with art and layout by Casey Deming. Released by Insides Music with an essay by Milo Fine
$40 or more – A limited edition silk screened print of a series-based life drawing by Trevor Adams
