Prolific Minneapolis producer Ryan Terrell ( a.k.a. Eskimo Spy) doesn't let his game cool off for a second. Tonight, as part of the Eyeo Festival's closing party at Honey, he drops a new release entitled Plastic Single. Evoking everything awesome about cerebral dance music hitherto heard by these ears, this release is a seductive teaser for his forthcoming full-length Plastic Snacks. Further incentive to attend tonight's show (as if co-conspirators Low-Gain and Ostracon won't suffice) is the opportunity to pick up a handmade cassette copy of the release which includes a unique unreleased Aphex Twin cover (Each tape has a different version!).
