Radical Cemetery-Stoned Minors

Much like stumbling on some foreign ritual, listening to Radical Cemetery's Stoned Minors (2010, self-released) is an arresting experience from the first... even unstoned. Definitely an Ummagumma-type recording that I would have enjoyed best as a baked teenager, this well-crafted jam is, as Miles Davis would say, "a bad motherfucker." Recalling Teo Macero's studio wizardry, producer Steve Ernest deftly grafts together splats of distorted bass, sacrificial keyboard dirges and jarring emotional non sequitars in a grim procession designed to defile your ears to the utmost. A meaty listen from beginning to end, Stoned Minors will change you. Purchase it here.
