In honor of the release of their new LP To Smithereens (2011, Skin Graft), Gay Beast perform at 7th Street Entry with Tips for Twat, Condominium, & the afore regaled Camden. Easily one of the best live acts I've ever seen, Gay Beast hits you below the belt with polyrhythmatism that makes Bill Bruford go "hmmm" while shredding your brain to bits with six string shrapnel and piercing blasts of overdriven keyboard. In a small, open space like the Entry, there'll be no escaping Danimal's wrathful enunciations, or his occasional volleys of tenor madness. With a frontline of openers equally effusive and effulgent, you can't go wrong!
